Traditional Key Lime Pie
A classic tart and creamy key lime pie with graham cracker crust and whipped topping.

Ingredients
- 1½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- ⅓ cup light brown sugar
- 6 tbsp melted butter
- ⅛ tsp salt
- 3 large egg yolks
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- ½ cup key lime juice
- 1 tbsp key lime zest
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- Lime slices for garnish
Notes
Pie must chill completely before serving. Use freshly squeezed key lime juice for best flavor.

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

Mix graham cracker crumbs, brown sugar, melted butter, and salt. Press into a 9-inch pie dish.

Bake crust for 10 minutes. Let cool slightly.

In a bowl, whisk egg yolks, sweetened condensed milk, key lime juice, and zest until smooth.

Pour filling into crust and bake for 15 minutes.

Chill the pie for at least 3 hours.
